| Union Pacific #4014 Big Boy on The Great Race Across the Midwest to Celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad. In Adams WI on Wednesday 07-24-19 to Thursday 07-25-19 Adams mayor presented a banner from Adams 100th celebration (Adams was founded as a Railroad town for the C&NW which merged into the union Pacific),to Ed Dickens and the UP steam crew for visiting there town. Then the UP#4014 had fuel oil and water added to her and the bearings where inject under high pressure with grease as she was put down for the night as the sun set over the old coaling tower. The next morning she was heated up and readied for her run to Milwaukee |
